Executive summary 

As part of the rebranding strategy, First Bank picked Tremend to build its online presence using a secure and highly available solution.

The client 

First Bank, a Romanian bank, owned and managed by U.S. investment firm J.C. Flowers & Co, has an American DNA, something you can see in its values that are American to the core: integrity, customer first, passion for sustainable results, teamwork, innovation, giving back.

Business Challenge 

After the rebranding process, the client needed a new platform, with a modern and flexible infrastructure, and also a new design to match its strategic intentions. The challenge was to build a complex solution that integrates banking-specific features and offers a high degree of online security and scalability.

We started the design process by conducting workshops with the stakeholders, product owners, and the development team.
The discovery workshops identified the client needs and the development team requirements, which led to the creation of wireframes and action items for all participants.

We continued with researching the latest UX trends, design principles, and rules, as well as studying competitors’ approaches.
We also conducted frequent brainstorming sessions with the development team and product owners.

Results 

A web presence passes all security criteria established by the banking industry, with high performance and availability at its core.
